One of the challenges of writing historical romance is describing the fashions that our characters wear. I was extremely lucky to come across a blog on Tumblr entitled, “Old Rags.” The photo below is an evening gown circa 1890. Looking at these pictures of period clothing may take hours, but it’s well worth it if you love period romance. I hope you enjoy!
