Julia Quinn has started her own Kickstarter to give Historical Romance a boost. The first thing I noticed about her subscription of books is that they are all from well-known traditionally published authors (Loretta Chase, Eloisa James, Alyssa Cole, to name a few). It doesn’t appear that the successful indies out there will be part of her movement. Perhaps we need to start our own Kickstarter to push the indie side of things.
